Destined to Serve Tyranny?
A nation of sinners is bound to serve tyranny.† Democracy on the other hand is the blessing
of righteousness and the fear of the LORD.
The operation of democracy depends on voluntary good
conduct.† Consider that the following
description of godly character is attributed to be in compliance with any
But the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.† (Gal
The rationalizations of the natural man lead contrary to
such a requirement.
Spiritually, all men are under supernatural
influence.† Angels and demons contend
to influence men.† Angels can only
assist with those who qualify for Godís help, and demons influence the
rest.† If you do not belong to God, you
fall under the influence of satanís kingdom by
default.† Satan, being the original
megalomaniac, will certainly arrange your enslavement.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the
one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
other.† (Mt 6:24a)
Consider early Israel.† Before they asked for a king, they lived
free without any sort of rule.† As long
as the fear of God was in their hearts, their good behavior allowed the
functioning of an excellent democracy.†
Whenever they lost their regard for God, they began to do whatever was
right in their own eyes.
In those days there
was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right
in his own eyes. (Jdg 17:6)
Their decline eventually put them in bondage to some kind
of tyrant.† This hardship would drive
them back to God, who would send a deliverer to restore their democracy.† Throughout the book of Judges, they
repeated this cycle many times to prove this principle.
began in the fear of the LORD and founded the democracy that such would
allow.† Consider that the founding
fathers declared their democratic intent in the context of respect for their

Now, after years of insidious
erosion of public morals, we find our democracy has been stolen from us, also
insidiously.† (see Power Rules)†
Much of the church has been ransacked as well.† What is a surprise to most is not such to
those who have long revered the LORD.
It may seem that we must act to restore our
democracy.† But unless the kingdom
of God is restored in America
by some kind of awakening that restores the fear of the LORD, any political
solution undertaken may not work.† Also
too, the time is short, seeing as we have passed many signposts signifying
the general beginning of end times in recent years.
It is repeatedly said in Judges:
And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
Let all of America do as the LORD has said:
If so be they will
hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the
evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. (Jer 26:3)
